Thank you for choosing Laughing Dog Kennel and trusting us with your fur-kid! **For new dog boarders, we require a Meet & Greet appointment so we can assess their personality & “fit” at our facility. PLEASE NOTE: We do not take first time boarding reservations over email. There is too much to ask you about your dog as well as explain to you regarding hours, policies & requirements.

For a smooth Admission, we ask you to follow the following steps:

So please call 505-863-DOGS if this is your first time— to get set up in the computer, answer some questions, check on the availability of your requested dates & set up your dog’s Meet & Greet appointment.

Step 2: Read Our Policies

Please visit our Policies page to review very important information regarding vaccination requirements, food & setting up a Meet & Greet appointment for your dog. PLEASE NOTE: We do not take first time boarding reservations over email. There is too much to ask you about your dog, as well as explain to you— regarding hours, policies & requirements. So please call 505-863-DOGS if this is your first time— to get set up in the computer, answer some questions, check on the availability of your requested dates & set up your dog’s Meet & Greet appointment.

Step 3: Complete Our Admission Form to Register Your Pet

Please download, print, and complete our Admission form for your dog (PDF) or cat (PDF). You'll only have to fill this form out once! 

Step 4: Collect Proof of Vaccinations

In order to ensure the health and well-being of all of our Guests, please make sure to review and collect your pet's vaccination records.  Proof of current status for City ordinance-required vaccinations is required. Your dog has to be current on Rabies DHLP-P & Bordetella in order to board.

Step 5: Deliver Documentation

Typically we collect this information from you at your dog’s Meet & Greet appointment. You can also email or fax (505-722-2431) your documentation. 

Step 6: Welcome! 

For new boarders, we'll need a complete Boarding Agreement for your dog (PDF) or cat (PDF) the first time your pet stays with us.
